Has anyone actually gotten long-term use out of the Bowflex SelectTech kettlebell? I keep seeing glowing reviews, but I’m skeptical about how durable those adjustment mechanisms really are with regular drops, swings, and snatches.
For context, I’ve had adjustable dumbbells fall apart way before I expected them to, even with careful use. The SelectTech kettlebell seems even more prone to issues given the extra moving parts. Is this product really built for more than just controlled, light workouts? Is anyone using it for serious training over months/years without issues? Or is this just another flashy “space saver” for casual exercisers?
Really want to hear honest, long-term experiences, especially from anyone doing heavier or higher-rep kettlebell routines. Not looking for day-one impressions or influencer posts—actual pitfalls, malfunctions, regrets, or things you wish you knew before buying.
