Hey folks, I’m super new to home gyms-just started setting one up in my garage and I’m totally confused about leg machines. I’ve seen stuff like leg presses, hack squats, and extension/curl machines thrown around, but I have no idea which ones are actually worth the space and money for a beginner like me who wants to build strong legs without bulking up too much (more like toned and functional for hiking).
What are the top picks for someone with limited space (maybe 6×8 ft area) and a $500-1000 budget? Do any of them double as other exercises to save room? Also, I’m worried about form-any that are forgiving if you’re still learning? Pros/cons or real-user stories would be awesome to help me decide! Thanks a ton!
