Hey folks, I’m brand new to home gyms and just starting with bodyweight stuff-totally can’t do a single pull-up yet, but excited to build up! I’ve been looking at adjustable pull-up bars (like doorway or freestanding ones), but I’m really confused about what “adjustable” actually means in practice. Do they mostly adjust width for different door frames, or height for stuff like inverted rows, hangs, or even dips?
For my tiny apartment setup, I want something versatile that won’t wreck the walls/doors and stays rock-solid up to maybe 250lbs. Are there any that let you fine-tune the height super easily for progression (like starting low for knee tucks)? Pros/cons of the cheap Amazon ones vs pricier brands? Any beginner tips to avoid wobbles or slips? Would love if you could explain it simply-thanks a ton!
